The Hard Rock Cafe in Detroit and several musical acts rocked out National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October with shows that benefitted the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute.

Hard Rock Cafe's annual Pinktober Live Music brought six shows to the stage and attracted guests of all ages throughout the month.

Ten percent of all sales from six nights of Pinktober Live Music shows will be donated to Karmanos breast cancer treatment and patient support.

Karmanos employees staffed an information table at four Pinktober shows. Staffers answered questions related to breast cancer and fundraising efforts.
