Join the 1st Annual Detroit Scope It Out 5K at 9 a.m., Saturday, November 3 at Willow Metro Park located in Belleville, MI.  The Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute will be the beneficiary of this event.

Funds raised will support colorectal cancer research and will help fund Dr. Lawrence Lum’s immunotherapy studies at Karmanos in search of a cure and new therapies for this disease. Dr. Lum will also speak at the event.

Abhinav Deol, M.D., member of Karmanos’ Malignant Hematology Multidisciplinary Team, and Michael Sapienza, founder of the Chris4Life Colon Cancer Foundation, attended a launch party for the foundation’s upcoming 5K in Belleville.	Dr. Deol joins members of the Chris4Life Colon Cancer Foundation to promote its 1st annual awareness and fundraising event in Belleville next month.
