Partners Golf Classic, Sept. 9; Partners Night, Oct. 5
Join the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute as it celebrates its 20th Annual Partners Events, a signature two-part fundraiser honoring outstanding philanthropists who support Karmanos’ exceptional cancer care and innovative research. This year’s honorees are the Institute’s largest benefactors - Danialle and Peter Karmanos, Jr.
The Partners Golf Classic will take place Monday, Sept. 9, at Franklin Hills Country Club. The Partners Night, a strolling dinner with a special guest comedian, will take place Saturday, Oct. 5, at The Fillmore Detroit.
Since Partners’ inception, the group has raised nearly $13 million through the Partners Events to support the Karmanos Cancer Institute’s exceptional state-of-the science research. This year’s Partners Events will help support the additional recruitment of highly-accomplished cancer scientists, complementing the exceptional cancer research already underway at Karmanos.
Pre-registration is required. Limited space is available. To register for the Partners Golf Classic or Partners Night, contact Lisa Koltunchik at 313-576-8106; e-mail email@example.com; or visit karmanos.org/partners.

About the Partners
The Partners are a group of hardworking and “hands-on” volunteers, ages 25 – 50, who have pooled their ideas and resources and joined together for the sole purpose of raising funds for the Karmanos Cancer Institute. Many of these dedicated volunteers are motivated by their own personal struggles or those of loved ones battling this disease. The Partners are dedicated to making sure that other families, who are facing this illness, always have a place to turn where they will receive the ultimate in patient care, education and treatment.
