Karmanos doctors speak at Prostate Cancer Survivorship Series at Aston Martin dealership in Troy

Elisabeth Heath, M.D., member of the Genitourinary Oncology Multidisciplinary Team at the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Center and Jordan Maier, M.D., medical director of Karmanos’ Weisberg Cancer Treatment Center, will take part in a panel discussion about prostate cancer and survivorship at the Michigan Institute of Urology’s Prostate Cancer Survivorship Series from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3 at the Aston Martin car dealership, 1767 Maplelawn Drive in Troy.
Drs. Heath and Maier will be joined by Michael Lutz, M.D., of the Michigan Institute of Urology (MIU) Men’s Health Foundation, who will moderate the event, and Jason Hafron, M.D., of MIU, who will serve as a fellow panelist.
The event is designed for prostate cancer survivors and their families to share stories of survivorship. An introductory welcome will occur at 11:30 a.m. and an open panel discussion takes place from noon-1 p.m. Refreshments will be served and participants are welcome to browse the showroom after the discussion.
