Dr. Ramzi Mohammad discusses new cancer cell technology in Crain's Detroit Business

Ramzi Mohammad, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Oncology at Karmanos Cancer Institute and Wayne State University School of Medicine, was recently interviewed by Crain’s Detroit Business regarding his collaborative work in discovering a chip-based device for identification of circulating tumor cells. An early prototype was tested in his lab at Karmanos.
This work is being done in collaboration with a newly-developed pharmaceutical company, Denovo Sciences, based in Plymouth Township. Dr. Mohammad and his colleagues are performing additional testing of the technology right now at Karmanos.
