Mary Chris Skeldon from Toledo, Ohio, pictured at left, is a breast cancer patient who is very grateful to have access to new cancer treatments at the Karmanos Cancer Institute in Detroit. An active volunteer for the Komen Toledo Race for the Cure, Skeldon knows first-hand the importance of clinical trials and advancements in cancer research.
