Instruction, resources and tools to enhance the quality of an organization's application.

All non-profit agencies who are considering applying for funds for local breast cancer screening, treatment and education programs (Wayne, Oakland and Macomb County) are encouraged to attend or review the presentation if you missed the workshop.

All applicants are notified of results.

Grant Period

October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011

Funds are distributed to Project Directors and projects are implemented.

Race grants are awarded on the basis of adherence to priorities as listed in the Community Profile, which defines the extent of the breast cancer burden, services, and gaps in the coverage  area for the Komen Detroit Race for the CureŽ (Macomb, Oakland and Wayne Counties)and on the **State of Breast Cancer.
