The Detroit Bladder Cancer Network (DBCN) is a joint partnership between the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Center and the Josephine Ford Cancer Institute of the Henry Ford Health System. The network is dedicated to increasing awareness of bladder cancer and providing education and support to bladder cancer patients and survivors, as well as their friends, family members and the community. The DBCN offers a safe environment where participants can discuss the issues unique to patients facing bladder cancer.
The DBCN provides education and support services, and presents discussions on issues such as incontinence, treatment options, communication with physicians, ongoing care and more. All meetings feature an open discussion.
