As more and more people are decreasing or eliminating the amount of alcohol they consume, it is always a good idea to have tasty non-alcoholic alternatives on hand for yourself or others. This is handy whether you're entertaining a group or providing a beverage for a neighbor who drops by. With St. Patrick's Day quickly approaching, there is no better time to broaden your beverage choices.

It is always good to have these non-alcoholic standbys available:
Variety of soda pop
Bottled water
Sparkling water (flavored or plain) or Club soda

And now...

The Non-alcoholic Bar Part Two

Orange Fizz
1 part Orange Juice
1 part Ginger Ale
Mix and serve in champagne flutes.


Lemon Squeeze
Juice from 1 Lemon
2 teaspoons Powdered Sugar
Club Soda
Dissolve the sugar and the lemon in a collins glass, then add ice and fill with Club Soda. Garnish with a cherry and slice of lemon and orange. Serve with a straw.

Grapefruit Cocktail
3/4 oz. Grenadine
3 Tbs. Grapefruit Juice
Soda Water
Place some ice cubes in a large tumbler, add grenadine syrup and grapefruit juice, top with soda water. Stir a little and serve with a drinking straw.

Pink Rose
4 oz. Cranberry Juice
2 oz. Pineapple Juice
1/2 oz. Lemon Juice
2 oz. Club Soda
Shake the 3 juices with ice and strain into a highball glass. Top up with the soda and garnish with a lime wedge.

Golden Grape
1 cup Grape Juice
1 cup Soda Water
1 teaspoon Honey
1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
Blend together at medium speed until smooth.


Moonglow
1 part Grenadine
4 parts Orange Juice
2 parts 4 parts Pineapple Juice
Mix. Serve over ice
