
WHAT IS THE DR. VEE LEGACY OF HOPE SOCIETY?
The Dr. Vee Legacy of Hope Society honors friends who demonstrate their deep commitment to the organization’s legacy and future by including KCI in their estate plans. Gifts are recognized during a donor’s lifetime and can be in the form of a charitable bequest through a will or a trust arrangement.

ABOUT DR. VEE - VAINUTIS K. VAITKEVICIUS, M.D.
Dr. Vee is one of Michigan’s leading oncologists, having spent more than fifty years as a physician in the Detroit community. As a leader, scientist, teacher and physician, Dr. Vee is credited as the architect of Detroit’s cancer program and his pioneering work in cancer research led to new global standards of care and treatment. He served as president of the Michigan Cancer Foundation and is the recipient of countless honors and awards for the strides he has made in the fight against cancer. Dr. Vee is beloved by his patients for his compassionate care and he continues to be involved in the Institute and the lives of his patients. He and his wife are members of the Dr. Vee Legacy of Hope Society.
