Educational Objectives

This program is geared towards physicians, fellows, residents, pathologists, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in the field of hematology/oncology. 

Upon completion of this program, the participant will:
  1. Understand diagnostic and therapeutic strategies used in the multimodality treatment of patients with breast cancer. 
  2. Understand the use of new agents, both cytotoxic and biologic, and their uses in breast cancers.
  3. Understand the latest research findings in all areas of breast cancer and how the updated research could impact future decision making in the diagnosis and treatment of these cancers.
  4. Physicians please bring any cases you would like to discuss.

Pre-registration is encouraged since space is limited. Registration deadline is February 22, 2013.

Cost
  • $125 for physicians
  • $50 for nurses and physician extenders. 
  • Free to all fellows, residents and students. 
Checks should be made out to FMRE (Fund for Medical Research Education).
