6 to 8 fresh carrots
1 Tbs. olive oil
2 Tbs. water
3 Tbs. sugar
1 Tbs. flour
3/4 cup orange juice
orange slices for garnish

Peel carrots. Cut into strips lengthwise. Cook, covered, in boiling water until tender. Drain and transfer carrots to shallow baking dish. In a small saucepan, stir olive oil and water together. In a separate small container, mix sugar and flour. Gradually stir flour/sugar mixture into olive oil/water mixture. Put saucepan on low to medium heat, gradually stir in orange juice.
