What time does the Race start?
The Opening Ceremony - Survivor and Memorial Recognition, begins at 8:00 a.m.
What time are things over?
The Closing Ceremony begins at 10:30. It will conclude at about 11:30 a.m.
What is the Race day schedule?

What is the Race route?
Our route is the same as last year, but without the Woodward construction.

Can I bring a dog?
Due to safety concerns, dogs and other pets (leashed or unleashed) are not permitted.
Can I ride a bike or rollerblade?
Not unless you are a paramedic! Due to safety concerns, bikes and rollerblades are not permitted.
Can I bring a stroller?
Strollers are allowed; however, for safety, we ask that you stay towards the back and to the sides of the Race route.
Do you have wheelchairs?
Thank you to Binson's Home Health Care Centers, Inc. for providing wheelchairs,

If I register a team does everyone have to pay or is it one price for the team?
Note that online team member registration closes May 13 at 6:00 p.m.

Do I have to fundraise?

How do I turn Friends for the CureŽ money in?
Manual donations, checks not cash, (submitted on paper forms) can be mailed to: 4100 John R Detroit,
MI 48201 Attn: Detroit Race for the CureŽ. Please make checks payable to: Detroit Race for the CureŽ.
Manual forms must be postmarked by July 1, 2008. Online donations must be received by July 1, 2008.
Does a team have to walk together or can some run and some walk?
Team members do not have to walk or run together; participate in whichever event you wish on Race day (5K Run, 5K Walk, or 1 Mile Walk).
And, you can change your mind the morning of the Race and switch from Race to Walk, etc.
If I registered for the Race can I change my mind and Walk, or vice versa?

What is the difference between Team Packet Packup vs. Team Packet Pickup?
