All applicants are notified of results.

Grant Period

October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009

Funds are distributed to Project Directors and projects are implemented.

Race grants are awarded on the basis of adherence to priorities as listed in the 2006 Community Profile, which defines the extent of the breast cancer burden, services, and gaps in the coverage  area for the Komen Detroit Race for the CureŽ (Macomb, Oakland and Wayne Counties)and on the **Breast Cancer Mortality Report.
