Dr. Philip to Present at Carcinoid Cancer Conference on June 8

Philip A. Philip, M.D., Ph.D., FRCP, will present at the Carcinoid Cancer Awareness Network’s 2013 NET (Neuroendocrine Tumor) Cancer Patient Conference, held 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, June 8, at the Royal Park Hotel in Rochester.
The conference, titled “A Multidisciplinary Approach to the Diagnosis, Treatment and Monitoring of NETS,” will present topics for an audience that includes patients, their family members and caretakers, physicians, and other health professionals.
Dr. Philip, a medical oncologist and leader of the Gastrointestinal and Endocrine Multidisciplinary Team at the Karmanos Cancer Center, will present “Medical Therapy of pNET and Gut-Based NETs: Differences and Similarities.” He will present from 1:15 – 2 p.m.
