More than 200 people participated in the first ever Gianni Ferrarotti Lung Cancer Walk and Rally on September 18 at Kensington Metro Park, raising $10,000 for lung cancer research at the Institute -- more than twice the goal.

The event was organized by Rosanne Ferrarotti (holding check on left) who lost her husband to the disease.

She is joined (from left) by: Nick Karmanos, Linda Deakins, Gianna Reichenbach, Diane Malenfant and Julie Jaracz.
