It started with cookies for the staff at Karmanos Cancer Institute at McLaren Greater Lansing. Now, Jamie Hutchinson, a breast cancer patient, along with her husband Wayne and daughter Haiden, are continuing to give back to the care team for everything they do - not just for the care they provide Hutchinson, but for the care they give to all of their patients.
Wayne told 517 Business and Lifestyle Magazine, "The staff really doesn't focus on their own emotions in front of patients; but when I dropped off the provisions, you could see that they were so taken that some of them actually let themselves give a little cry, a little emotion."
