Elisabeth Heath, M.D., FACP, was highlighted in news from the Department of Defense’s Prostate Cancer Research Program for her work addressing the health care needs of populations disproportionately affected with prostate cancer. The Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute had a minority accrual rate of 42 percent in prostate cancer clinical trials.
