Hadeel Assad, M.D., medical oncologist and member of the Breast Cancer and Phase I Clinical-Pharmacology Multidisciplinary Teams (MDTs) at Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute, chaired an educational discussion for one of OncLive's Institutional Perspectives in Cancer virtual events, part of the State of the Science Summits. Dr. Assad was joined by Breast Cancer MDT members and medical oncologists Lawrence Flaherty, M.D., Jailan Elayoubi, M.D., and Michael Simon, M.D., MPH, co-leader of the Breast Cancer MDT, to cover topics such as early stage and metastatic HER2+, CDK 4/6 inhibitors, triple-negative breast cancer and emerging new agents.
