The Dennis Kubit Testicular Cancer Foundation hosted the third annual “Tee Off FORE Testies” at Beacon Hill Golf Course in Commerce Township on Sept. 24, 2017. The event raised $13,800 for testicular cancer research at the Karmanos Cancer Institute.
The event is hosted in memory of Dennis D. Kubit, who passed away from testicular cancer in 2014 at the age of 33. Dennis’s family recently visited Karmanos’ Lawrence and Idell Weisberg Cancer Treatment Center in Farmington Hills to present the check to Ulka Vaishampayan, M.D. leader of the Genitourinary Oncology Multidisciplinary Team at Karmanos.
Since 2015, “Tee Off FORE Testies” has raised $29,100 for testicular cancer research at the Institute.
