A donor-advised fund (DAF) is an excellent way to maximize your charitable giving while receiving meaningful tax benefits. You can secure an immediate tax deduction by contributing assets, such as cash or appreciated investments. These contributions are managed by a trusted sponsoring organization, like a community foundation or financial institution, allowing your assets to grow tax-free. As a donor, you can recommend grants to qualified charities at your discretion, making a lasting impact on the causes you care about most.
Friends Raising Funds
Our Friends Raising Funds program is for individuals, community organizations and businesses that seek ways to get involved. From golf outings and walks to bake sales and private dinners, hosting your own event offers an excellent opportunity to support Karmanos and showcase your creativity.
Financial Donations
Financial donations help Karmanos conduct state-of-the-science cancer research, develop the latest diagnostic and treatment options, and recruit and retain world-class cancer specialists. Donations can commemorate a special occasion or express appreciation for a dedicated doctor, nurse or other caregiver. A Gift of Hope note can be sent to the designated person, notifying them that a tribute gift has been made in their honor.
