On World Cancer Day, Elisabeth Heath, M.D., FACP, medical oncologist, leader of the Genitourinary Oncology Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), and member of the Phase 1 Clinical Trials MDT at Karmanos, discussed closing the care gap for cancer patients around the world. She explains how it is important to reach people early to begin screening at the standard age that guidelines recommend, or before, depending on the patient.
