Oncology Issues
In Oncology Issues, a publication of the Association of Community Cancer Centers, Karmanos Cancer Institute and Wayne State University researchers, Lauren M. Hamel, Ph.D., Susan Eggly, Ph.D., and research assistant Lorna Mabunda, MSI, explain how both institutions developed a mobile app to educate patients and providers about the importance of cost of care discussions. The application is called the Discussions of Cost (DISCO).
