The registry is responsible for precise data entry and report generation on over 19,000 cases accessioned since 1981. Annual follow-up reporting assures that patients continue to see their physicians for examination at regular intervals. The Cancer Registry shares data with the Michigan Department of Community Health and the National Cancer Database for evaluating the effect of diagnosis, treatment and patient outcomes.
