Karmanos Cancer Institute's Office of Community Outreach and Engagement (COE) presents the 2025 Community Conversations on Cancer series in collaboration with the Detroit Public Library. "The Road Ahead: Understanding a Lung Cancer Diagnosis and Exploring Treatment" will be held in person at the Detroit Public Library’s main branch and virtually via Zoom.

Join us for an insightful discussion led by Ammar Sukari, M.D., medical oncologist, member of the Thoracic Oncology Multidisciplinary Team, Molecular Therapeutics Research Program co-leader at Karmanos, and associate professor at the Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Sukari will present what to expect after a lung cancer diagnosis and how to determine which treatment options might be best.

Registration is required. For more information, contact KCI COE Events at kcicoeevents@karmanos.org or 313-576-8911.
