Omar Gayar, M.D., is a board certified radiation oncologist. He completed medical school at the University of Missouri in Kansas City. He also completed his transitional year internship and radiation oncology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, where he served as chief resident. He is a practicing Radiation Oncologist at the McLaren Proton Therapy Center, as well as the Karmanos Cancer Institute locations in Flint and Lapeer. He also serves patients in Owosso, Michigan.
Dr. Gayar has served on multiple committees including the Internal Review Board, Lapeer Cancer Committee, and Financial Sub-committee in Lapeer.
