Isaac Powell, M.D., urologic oncologist, member of the Genitourinary Oncology Multidisciplinary Team and the Population Studies and Disparities Research Program at Karmanos, explains his research of identifying genes and other risk factors that cause more advanced prostate cancer diagnoses among African American men than European men. He also addresses why there is mistrust in the health care system among African Americans.
