Isaac Powell, M.D., urologic oncologist, member of the Genitourinary Oncology Multidisciplinary Team and the Population Studies and Disparities Research Program at Karmanos, participated in the [ACT]IVATED Prostate Cancer Program series. Dr. Powell discussed high-risk prostate cancer, population genetics, prostate cancer disparities, and the continued distrust that African Americans have of medical professionals, even when it comes to clinical trials.
