The new U.S. Preventative Services Task Force recommendations state that women should receive mammograms every other year starting at 40. However, Evita Singh, M.D., diagnostic radiologist, director of breast imaging and member of the Breast Cancer Multidisciplinary Team at Karmanos, joined ‘JR Morning and explained why breast cancer experts still encourage women 40 and older to receive mammograms annually.
