Lead medical physicist at Karmanos Cancer Center, Adrian Nalichowski, Ph.D., DABR, explains how Karmanos' new Varian Ethos therapy system uses artificial intelligence (AI) to treat patients. This machine is able to deliver adaptive therapy, a treatment plan that accounts for daily changes in tumor and normal anatomy, in a typical 15-30 minute patient treatment timeslot.
