Acute Care Center in Detroit
Our Acute Care Center (ACC) team members are experts in treating the unique needs of our cancer patients. If you experience any acute symptoms or side effects after you have been discharged from the hospital or clinic, please call your clinical team or contact the ACC nursing staff at 313-576-8141.
Hours of Operation: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., Monday-Friday
Location: The Acute Care Center is located on the first floor in the Wertz Infusion Center.
Make an Appointment: Please call 313-576-8141 to make an appointment. Visits to the Acute Care Center are by appointment only.
The ACC is not an emergency room (ER). If you are having chest pain, trouble breathing or uncontrolled bleeding, please visit the closest ER or call 911.
If you are experiencing the following symptoms, please visit the ACC:
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea or constipation
- Pain not controlled by your pain medicine
- Dehydration
- Blood in urine, vomit or stool
- Trouble urinating
- Fever
- Problems with ostomy or wound
