Knowledge is Power! Please join the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute for a cancer prevention and screening event on Saturday, October 29, 2022.

This community education event will feature Karmanos experts covering the following topics:

  • Screening and prevention
  • Clinical trials
  • Genetic counseling
  • Lung cancer screening guidelines
  • Women’s wellness

In the fight against cancer, early detection is an important weapon, since cancer is most treatable in its early stages. The following routine screenings will be conveniently available onsite during the event:

  • Colon screening consultation
  • Head & neck examination
  • Mammogram screening

These screenings must be scheduled online prior to the event. Please bring your insurance card for the mammogram and colon screening. BCCCP is available for those uninsured or underinsured.
